Vehicle Technician

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team repair in Corby.

The job in a nutshell:

• Salary: £17.07
• Corby
• Overtime available
• Vehicle Technician
• 4 days on / 4 days off
• 7am – 7pm

As a vehicle technician, you will be undertaking vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs to an extremely high standard, working swiftly and efficiently to create a safe and productive environment. You will ensure the cars are mechanically prepared to a high standard.

A minimum of 1-year of experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic is required.

What you will be doing as a vehicle technician

• Conduct servicing and repairs to many different marques of vehicle, performing diagnostic testing to identify faults
• Maintaining a safe and productive work environment
• Understanding of different warranty schemes and how these affect customers
• Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and on time
• Ensuring Pre Delivery Inspections are completed notifying the customer of any advisory
• Follow assignments through to completion, meets deadlines, and deliver on promises

Requirements for a vehicle technician

• Previous experience and/or relevant qualification is essential
• A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• A keen eye for minor issues.
• The ability to communicate with a diverse workgroup.
• A Full UK/EU Driving Licence is essential for this role. 

You will need to own a stocked toolbox and basic servicing items and be able to use these for work.
